This edition includes more extensive vocabulary exercises in addition to a new English-to-English Vocabulary List. It also includes a structured writing component that contains a new section on formal e-mail messages. The book is aimed at intermediate to advanced learners who already have a good foundation in English vocabulary and grammar, as well as some knowledge of introductory microeconomics in their native language. An important feature of the book is the Glossary which explains the important terms in English. This new edition has been thoroughly revised. While the structure of the book remains the same, the passages have been revised and updated to reflect changes and new developments in the field over the past decade. A new unit on income distribution and equity addresses an issue of great interest and concern in todays world: the growing gap between the rich and the poor, and the role of economic policy in addressing it.
