Voula Kokolaki comes from Crete, from Aghios Nikolaos of Lassithi. She studied Modern Greek Philology at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Crete. During her undergraduate studies, she was an Erasmus student at the University Ca’ Foscari of Venice in Italy. She holds a Master’s degree in Modern Greek from the Free University of Berlin (Germany). She participated in the postgraduate programme «Philosophy: Knowledge, Values and Society» (School of Letters, University of Crete). She has taught Modern Greek to foreign students at the Centre for Intercultural and Migration Studies of the University of Crete. She writes philological, philosophical and theoretical articles for the renowned magazine «O Anagnostis» (The Reader). She speaks very good English, German and Italian.
